Collaborative Interface for emergency originated from ATM and application of dynamic airspace Reconfiguration for management

The SESAR AURA project is organising an open day to present a solution for the digitalisation of the UAS flight authorisation mechanism for operations near airports and for the management of all the coordination actions during an emergency originated by air traffic management in the U-space airspace.

The open day will present the results of a validation exercise that will take place in the Grottaglie test bed on the 29 and 30 November. Hosted by DTA in the Grottaglie Airport Test Bed infrastructure and coordinated by Leonardo, with the participation of ENAV, d-flight, Telespazio, Leonardo Germany GmbH and NAIS, the real-time validation provides a synthetic environment composed by an ATM/ATC and U-space component, with manned and unmanned traffic and the participation of air traffic controllers and pilots. The main objective of the exercise is to assess the compatibility of UAS operations in the proximity of a controlled airport, together with the interoperability between ATM and U-space volumes,  with a dedicated focus on application of dynamic airspace reconfiguration for priority operations management.

Participants will have the opportunity to see the experimental set-up that was used for the live exercises by joining the Airport “Marcello Arlotta”,  Grottaglie (TA)

10:00 - 14:00, 1 December  2022

If you cannot make it to Grottaglie, the project will provide a parallel video-conference access. To participate, contact fiorella.lamberti@leonardo.com ; guido.solitro@leonardo.com before the 25  November to indicate your presence on site (DTA/Grottaglie ) or online.
