Human performance is at the heart of air navigation systems. Professionals from the air transport sector are involved in the programme to ensure that future systems are built to their needs and specifications.
Through engagement with Professional staff associations, SESAR brings together some 100,000 controllers, pilots and engineers at European level globally. Three of these organisations have a global extension to the 191 member states of ICAO, giving SESAR access to over 250,000 front-end aviation operators world-wide.
