Call for Participation to the Workshop of the European Project RETACDA - Reduction of Emissions in Terminal Areas (TMA) using Continuous Descent Approaches (CDA)

Organised by INECO

Under the Atlantic Interoperability Initiative to Reduce Emissions (AIRE) and funded by the SESAR JU, the RETACDA project’s objective is to perform Integrated Flight Trials and Demonstrations in Terminal Area (TMA) using Continuous Descent Approaches (CDA), with the aim of reduction of CO2 emission and optimization of the fuel consumption. More than 800 flight demonstrations have been performed during summer 2009 in the Madrid-Barajas Terminal Area by A320 family and A340 Iberia commercial flights.

You are cordially invited to the RETACDA Workshop, organised by INECO, that will be held at Aena premises in Madrid Barajas Airport, on Thursday, 18th of February 2010, hosted by the RETACDA project team and the SESAR Joint Undertaking All details in the attached Call for Participation to the Workshop, along with the preliminary agenda, a map of the venue as well as logistics inforamtion.
