ATACCS 2011 is the first in a series of scientific conferences being organised on the theme of Automation in Command and Control Systems. This first conference takes place in Barcelona on 26-27 May and focuses on application and theory. ATACCS has been devised by the HALA! Research Network, which is supported by SESAR WP E (long-term and innovative research in automation of ATM).

The conference should be of particular interest for Automation people working in ATM, rail and traffic management, healthcare systems, space operations, cockpits for aerial and terrestrial vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The organisers are currently looking for people to submit extended abstracts (2-4 pages) in the following categories: Research papers, Industrial papers and Doctoral consortium. The deadline for submissions is 28 March 2011.
