TEMPAERIS: Testing Emergency Procedures in Approach and En Route Integration Simulation
Type: rpas
Countries: France
Domains: -
Description
The TEMPAERIS demonstration project aims to investigate RPAS performance in low-medium TMA airspace through live flight trials and simulations. The demonstrations will be carried out using ENAC’s Beech 58 - a low-performance RPAS (as represented by an optionally-piloted vehicle (OPV) of single-engine GA class.
It concentrates on the current ATM architecture and operational context, and intends to provide conclusions on low-performance RPAS, including communications latency, operational latency (e.g. compliance with ATC instructions) and handling of non-nominal situations.
