An open day on the system information-wide management (SWIM) took place on 5 July at the premises of Leonardo S.p.A. Organised by the SESAR project (PJ17-SWIM-TI), the workshop presented progress made on the SWIM purple profile – the solution enabling more efficient air-ground (A/G)advisory information sharing.

Hosted by partners, Leonardo, Frequentis and Selex GmbH, the open da featured a demonstration of prototypes developed in the context of the solution. Participants were able to

• Learn about the solution design and the use cases underpinning it;
• See first-hand through live demonstrations the SWIM A/G Infrastructure that is enabling secure information sharing among a number of remotely-connected prototypes;
• Discuss next stages of the project.
