The SESAR Young Scientist Award aims to recognize young high potentials contributing to any SESAR activity for the scientific development of Air Traffic Management and Enabling Technologies.
Candidates must be young scientist with scientific achievements within a Bachelor or Master Thesis (which must be completed not more than 2 years ago) or an ongoing PhD Work done under SESAR Remits in one of the following thematic area:
- ATM,
- Technological enablers,
- Related non-technological domains
The selection criteria will be based on :
- Relevance to the thematic areas,
- Level of innovation,
- Scientific excellence and soundness of selected approach,
- Originality,
- Impact through publications derived from the Thesis (peer reviewed), patents,
- Engagement of the candidate, international exchanges, cooperation.
The SESAR Young Scientist Award will be awarded on the 29th November 2012 at the SESAR Innovative Days in Braunschweig, Germany.
