The workshop will explore operational aspects of airborne collision avoidance system (ACAS Xo) and the applicability in European airspace.

Typical ACAS Xo applications include procedures with reduced separation, such as closely spaced parallel approaches, which might generate an unacceptable number of nuisance alerts unless the system is able to recognise situations were new separation modes are being applied.

The workshop is organised by SESAR Project CAPITO (PJ.11), which is focused enhanced air and ground safety nets. The project brings together the following partners: Airbus, Dassault Aviation, DSNA, Enaire, Eurocontrol, Honeywell, Indra, Thales, Leonardo, Saab.
