Meteorological Technology World Expo
The SESAR JU participated in the virtual live Meteorological Technology World Expo on 24 March 2021.
The event provided a much-needed platform for aviation meteorologists, airline and airport operators, air navigation services and other key stakeholders to engage with each other and with speakers and suppliers who presented and discussed the next generation of systems, solutions and services for the aviation industry.
Overview of SESAR JU participation in the event:
The SESAR JU participated with a series of presentations showcasing some of the latest validation results and most promising solutions coming out of the SESAR R&D programme, as well as moderated two panel discussions:
- Weather impact prediction for Air Traffic Flow and Capacity Management Services
- MET services for enhanced safety and sustainable aviation
