The entire aviation industry hopes that air traffic will recover rapidly after the end of the pandemic. However, in Europe the pre-pandemic period was often characterised by a high level of delays in some regions and costly overcapacity in some other parts of the airspace.
CADENZA is a SESAR 2020 exploratory research (ER) project which started in June 2020. CADENZA investigates several comprehensive approaches to better balance demand and capacity in the European ATM network. It builds upon the findings of the 2019 Jane’s-ATC-Innovation-award-winning SESAR ER project COCTA as well as upon latest industry developments.
The CADENZA research team will present different options for better matching demand and capacity as well as first results of its research during a two-day interactive online workshop. The online workshop is free of charge and will take place on September 7th and 8th (Tuesday and Wednesday). We will have two interactive sessions on both days, first one starting at 10.00 am, followed with a short break and the second session which will start at 11.45 am. Networking opportunities will be provided on both days after the interactive sessions.
