The SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking organised an information day on 22 April on the occasion of the launch of the first calls of its Digital European Sky programme. The online event presented the key elements of the calls, which cover a wide range of topics aimed at making aviation smarter and more sustainable. A total of EUR 194 million is earmarked for the research within the framework of the EU’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
The online information day provided an overview of the Digital European Sky programme, covering the various strands of activities, namely exploratory research, industrial research and validation, and fast-track innovation and uptake.
It was also an opportunity for potential applicants to find out more about the Horizon Europe eligibility and evaluation criteria and SESAR 3 JU programme management rules.
