Interested in the latest advances in weather forecasting in air traffic management?
SINOPTICA (Satellite-borne and IN-situ Observations to Predict The Initiation of Convection for ATM), is organising a stakeholder meeting on the 12 September 2022 and is seeking the participation of stakeholders interested and/or with expertise in the domain.
SINOPTICA's goal is to develop a very short-term to short-term forecasting system of severe thunderstorms affecting airports and together with the air traffic managers, it deploys new strategies to adjust the flight trajectories avoiding the adverse weather areas.
The different outcomes of SINOPTICA work packages will be presented in a mock-up manner to the stakeholders with the main goal to identify requirements and to establish possible future collaborations. You can find the meeting program attached to this email.
