As a consequence of the new statute of the SESAR Joint Undertaking as a EU body, each institution has to sign an agreement in their hosting country. The SESAR Joint Undertaking and the Kingdom of Belgium signed today this administrative agreement.

It grants the SESAR Joint Undertaking the privilege and immunities on the Belgian territory as an European institution.
H. E., Mr. Godfrin, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium and Patrick Ky, Executive Director of SESAR signed this agreement in presence of representatives from the European Commission, the Belgian representation to the EU, the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the staff of the SJU.
