In 2024, Transport Research Arena (TRA), the largest European transport event, will take place in Dublin, Ireland, under the theme ‘Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility’.
The four day event will provide a great opportunity to hear about mobility trends in different parts of Europe, to learn from achievements in the industry, as well as share best practices of policies and deployments. The Conference also offers a great venue for researchers, policymakers and industry representatives to get together and contribute to the discussion on how research and innovation can reshape the transport and mobility system.
The themes for TRA2024 will be:

- Sustainable Mobility of People and Goods
- Efficient & Resilient Systems
- Collaborative Digitalisation
The SESAR 3 JU will be participating in the event with a joint exhibition stand together with Europe’s Rail, Clean Hydrogen and Clean Aviation. The SESAR 3 JU will also be organising several activities on-site during the event to promote SESAR research and innovation efforts, such as:
- Urban air mobility - From concept to reality (16 April, 14.30-15.45)
- Integrated air and rail network for a sustainable and multimodal transport system (18 April, 9.45-11.00)
